St. Francis De Sales College was founded in 1956 by the visionary Archbishop Eugene D’Souza, whose foresight laid the foundation for an academic journey marked by growth and achievement. Guided by the motto ‘Truth and Love’ and inspired by the patronage of St. Francis De Sales, the College continues to nurture the legacy of values and ideas handed down by its founder.

A Continuing Journey of Quality
The institution underwent NAAC accreditation in 2004 and continued working towards improving the learning environment, empowering and transforming young adults. This progress was reflected in subsequent reaccreditation cycles in 2009 and 2015, when the College secured A Grade with CGPAs of 3.14 and 3.23 respectively. The institution has also pursued further quality enhancement through initiatives such as CPE and NIRF.
